Our Story
I learnt to tile the old-school way—next to my father, as a teenager, on real jobs with real deadlines. He taught me that straight lines, flat substrates, and a tidy site weren’t extras; they were the trade.
After a short holiday in Europe, I came home and was told—plain and simple—“Start your own business and get to work.” That push became Decor Tiling, and later Consolidated Tiling Contractors.
What began with a van, a mixer, and a stack of levels grew into a team known for meticulous prep, waterproofing done to spec, and finishes that stand up to inspection. Today we work in new homes, main floors, and wet areas across Perth, with a specialty in large-format panels and natural stone (marble, travertine, granite, crazy pave), including honing and polishing.
The standards haven’t changed since those early days with my father: show up, do it right, communicate clearly, and leave the work looking as good years from now as it does on hand-over.
